Gilbert Campbell is a leading alternative energy expert and co-founder of Volt Energy, a national renewable energy development firm that builds, operates, and maintains state-of-the-art renewable energy systems for commercial, government, non profit and educational institutions. Notable clients include: The Cheesecake Factory, Fort Bragg, Wake Forest University, KIPP DC, and the Government of the District of Columbia. Gilbert was recently named to EBONY magazine’s 2014 Power 100 List, which recognizes influential achievements by African-Americans annually. He is a member of the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE), an Advisor to the US Department of Energy’s Minorities in Energy Initiative. Campbell holds a B.B.A in Finance from Howard University and has done post-graduate leadership training at Harvard University.
